The Nebraska Adventure is a 4th grade Nebraska history textbook. The outline for this book is based on the Nebraska Social Studies Framework and teaches Nebraska geography, history, economics, citizenship, and government. The book places the state's historical events in the context of our nation's history.

The Nebraska Adventure (1st edition c2004) (2nd edition c2005: national, state, and other award-winning Nebraska Studies Textbook for 4th graders and coffee-table book) is now in 10th printing, and has sold over 32,000 copies. Awarded the 2005 Texty Award, the 2006 Nebraska Book Award, and the 2006 Moonshell Arts and Humanities Award.
